Article 4 of the Declaration states that, " all acts of enforced disappearance shall be offences under criminal law punishable by appropriate penalties which shall take into account their extreme seriousness " .
19- وتنص المادة 4 من الإعلان على أن " يُعتبَر كل عمل من أعمال الاختفاء القسري جريمة يعاقب عليها بالعقوبات المناسبة التي تراعى فيها شدة جسامتها في نظر القانون الجنائي " .

وتنص المادة 26 من الإعلان على أن للشعوب الأصلية " الحق في امتلاك الأراضي والأقاليم والموارد التي تحوزها بحكم الملكية التقليدية أو غيرها من أشكال الشغل أو الاستخدام التقليدية، والحق في استخدامها وتنميتها والسيطرة عليها، هي والأراضي والأقاليم والموارد التي اكتسبتها بخلاف ذلك " (5).

39. Article 2 (2) of the Declaration states that " All human beings have a responsibility for development, individually and collectively ... " .

Article 4 of the Declaration states that women who are subjected to violence should be informed about and provided with access to the mechanisms of justice and to just and effective remedies for the harm that they have suffered, as provided by national legislation.
وتنص المادة 4 من الإعلان على أنه ينبغي إعلام النساء اللاتي يتعرضن إلى العنف بآليات العدالة وبسبل الانتصاف العادلة والفعالة مما يلحق بهن من أضرار وإتاحة هذه الآليات والسبل لهن، حسبما تنص عليه التشريعات الوطنية.

35- تنص المادة 3(3) من الإعلان على أنه " ينبغي للدول أن تستوفي حقوقها وتؤدي واجباتها على نحو يعزز عملية إقامة نظام اقتصادي دولي جديد على أساس المساواة في السيادة والترابط والمنفعة المتبادلة والتعاون فيما بين جميع الدول، ويشجع كذلك مراعاة حقوق الإنسان وإعمالها " .

Article 5 of the Declaration states that " [f]or the purpose of promoting and protecting human rights and fundamental freedoms, everyone has the right, individually and in association with others, at the national and international levels: (a) to meet or assemble peacefully .... "
