Article 32 of the Charter of the Economic Rights and Duties of States, adopted by the General Assembly at its twenty-ninth session, states that no State may use or encourage the use of economic, political or other measures to coerce another State in order to obtain from it the subordination of the exercise of its sovereign rights.
إن ميثاق حقوق الدول وواجباتها الاقتصادية، الذي اعتمدته الجمعية العامة في دورتها التاسعة والعشرين، نص في مادته الثانية والثلاثين على أنه لا يجوز ﻷي دولة أن تستخدم أو تشجع على استخدام تدابير اقتصادية أو سياسية أو أي نوع آخر للضغط على دولة أخرى بقصد إجبارها على التبعية لها في ممارسة حقوقها السيادية.

No State may use or encourage the use of economic political or any other type of measures to coerce another State in order to obtain from it the subordination of the exercise of its sovereign rights and to secure from it advantages of any kind.
ولا يجوز لأية دولة استخدام التدابير الاقتصادية أو السياسية أو أي نوع آخر من التدابير، أو تشجيع استخدامها، لإكراه دولة أخرى على التنازل عن ممارسة حقوقها السيادية وللحصول منها على أية مزايا.

ويشجب وفده سياسات بعض الدول والكيانات الإقليمية التي تقوم على فرض تدابير انفرادية لإجبار دولة أخرى على التبعية لها في ممارسة حقوقها السيادية.

٢٢ - تنص المادة ٣٢ على أنه ليس ﻷي دولة أن تستخدم، أو أن تشجع على استخدام، تدابير اقتصادية أو سياسية أو من أي نوع آخر للضغط على دولة أخرى بقصد اجبارها على التبعية لها في ممارسة حقوقها السيادية.

Cuba recalls that the General Assembly decided in 1970 that no State may use or encourage the use of economic, political or any other measures to coerce another State in order to obtain the subordination of the exercise of its sovereign rights or to obtain from it advantages of any kind.
وتشير كوبا إلى أن الجمعية العامة قررت في عام 1970 أنه لا يمكن لأي دولة أن تستخدم تدابير اقتصادية أو سياسية أو تدابير من أي نوع آخر، أو تشجع على استخدامها، للضغط على دولة أخرى لإجبارها على التبعية لها في ممارسة حقوقها السيادية أو للحصول منها على أية مزايا.

General Assembly resolution 64/189 reaffirmed that no State could use or encourage the use of unilateral economic, political or any other type of measures to coerce another State in order to obtain from it the subordination of the exercise of its sovereign rights.
وأضاف أن قرار الجمعية العامة 64/189 أعاد تأكيد أنه لا يجوز لأية دولة استخدام تدابير اقتصادية أو سياسية انفرادية أو أي نوع آخر من التدابير، أو تشجيع استخدامها، لإكراه دولة أخرى على التبعية لها في ممارسة حقوقها السيادية.

وأضاف أن الجمعية العامة أكدت مرة أخرى في قرارها ٥٠/٩٦ المؤرخ ٢٠ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٥، بأنه ليس ﻷي دولة أن تستخدم أو تشجع على استخدام تدابير اقتصادية أو سياسية أو أية تدابير أخرى للضغط على دولة أخرى بقصد إجبارها على التبعية لها في ممارسة حقوقها السيادية.
