1. Rule 36 of the Rules of Procedure of the Fourth Review Conference of the High Contracting Parties to the Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons Which May Be Deemed to Be Excessively Injurious or to Have Indiscriminate Effects provides that:
1- تنص المادة 36 من النظام الداخلي للمؤتمر الاستعراضي الرابع للأطراف المتعاقدة السامية في اتفاقيـة حظـر أو تقييد استعمال أسلحة تقليدية معينة يمكن اعتبارها مفرطة الضرر أو عشوائية الأثر على ما يلي:

1. Rule 35 of the rules of procedure of the Fourth Review Conference of the States Parties to the Convention on prohibitions or restrictions on the use of certain conventional weapons which may be deemed to be excessively injurious or to have indiscriminate effects provides that:

The Meeting of the High Contracting Parties decided to designate Ambassador Gancho Ganev of Bulgaria as President of the Fourth Review Conference of the High Contracting Parties to be held in 2011, and appointed Minister Jesus S. Domingo of the Philippines as Chairperson of the Group of Governmental Experts.
39- وقرر اجتماع الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية أن يعيّن سفير بلغاريا غانتشو غانيف رئيساً للمؤتمر الاستعراضي الرابع للأطراف المتعاقدة السامية، الذي سيعقد في عام 2011، وعيّن الوزير جيسوس س. دومينغو من الفلبين رئيساً لفريق الخبراء الحكوميين.

40. At its final plenary meeting, on 26 November 2010, the Meeting of the High Contracting Parties adopted the cost estimates of the Fourth Review Conference of the High Contracting Parties and of the sessions of the Group of Governmental Experts to be held in 2011, as contained in CCW/MSP/2010/CRP.1 and CCW/MSP/2010/CRP.2.
40- وفي الجلسة العامة الختامية، المعقودة في 26 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2010، اعتمد اجتماع الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية التكاليف التقديرية للمؤتمر الاستعراضي الرابع للأطراف المتعاقدة السامية ولدورات فريق الخبراء الحكوميين التي ستعقد في عام 2010، كما ترد في الوثيقتين CCW/MSP/2010/CRP.1 وCCW/MSP/2010/CRP.2.

Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Fourth Review Conference of the High Contracting Parties to the Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons Which May Be Deemed to Be Excessively Injurious or to Have Indiscriminate Effects (CCW/CONF.IV/2) provides that:
1- تنص المادة 4 من النظام الداخلي للمؤتمر الاستعراضي الرابع للأطراف المتعاقدة السامية في اتفاقية حظر أو تقييد استعمال أسلحة تقليدية معينة يمكن اعتبارها مفرطة الضرر أو عشوائية الأثر (CCW/CONF.IV/2)، على ما يلي:

The General Assembly would also, by paragraph 4, welcome the convening, at the request of the States Parties, of the Fourth Review Conference of the Parties to the Convention at Geneva from 25 November to 6 December 1996.
وفي الفقرة ٤ ترحب الجمعية العامة بعقد المؤتمر الاستعراضي الرابع ﻷطراف الاتفاقية في جنيف في الفــترة من ٢٥ تشـرين الثــاني/ نوفمبر إلى ٦ كانون اﻷول/ديسـمبر ١٩٩٦، بناء على طلب الدول اﻷطراف.

We welcome the successful outcome of the Fourth Review Conference of the States Parties to the BWC, held at the end of last year, and we will actively participate in the work of the Ad Hoc Group to consider appropriate measures, including a possible verification regime to be defined in a legally binding document.
ونرحب بالنتائج الناجحة التي أسفر عنها المؤتمر الاستعراضي الرابع للدول اﻷطراف في اتفاقية اﻷسلحة البيولوجية الذي انعقد في نهاية العام الماضي، وسنشارك بصورة نشطة في أعمال الفريق المخصص لدراسة التدابير المناسبة، بما في ذلك إمكان إقامة نظام للتحقيق تحدد تفاصيله في وثيقة ملزمة قانونا.
