وفقا للمادة 135 من النظام الداخلي للجمعية العامة والمادة 59 من النظام الداخلي المؤقت لمجلس الأمن، يتشرف الأمين العام بأن يعمم طيه طلب جمهورية جنوب السودان الانضمام إلى عضوية الأمم المتحدة، الوارد في رسالة مؤرخة 9 تموز/يوليه 2011 من رئيس جمهورية جنوب السودان (انظر المرفق).

Main Committees 55. The Chairman said that, in accordance with rule 99 (a) of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly and rule 103, as amended by General Assembly resolution 28/126, all Main Committees should, at least three months before the opening of the next session, elect a Chairman and a full Bureau.
55 - الرئيس: قال إنه وفقا للمادة 99 (أ) من النظام الداخلي للجمعية العامة والمادة 103، بصيغتها المعدلة بموجب قرار الجمعية العامة 28/126، ينبغي لجميع اللجان الرئيسية أن تنتخب رئيس المكتب وجميع أعضائه، قبل ما لا يقل عن ثلاثة أشهر من افتتاح الدورة المقبلة.

61. The Chairman recalled that, in accordance with rule 99 (a) of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly and rule 103, as amended by General Assembly resolution 58/126, the Main Committees should elect a Chairman and a full Bureau three months before the opening of the next session.
61 - الرئيس: أشار إلى أنه يتعين على اللجان الرئيسية، وفقا للمادة 99 (أ) من النظام الداخلي للجمعية العامة والمادة 103، بصيغتها المعدلة في قرار الجمعية العامة 58/126، أن تنتخب رئيسا ومكتبا كاملا قبل إنعقاد الدورة التالية بثلاثة أشهر.

In accordance with rule 135 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly and rule 59 of the provisional rules of procedure of the Security Council, the Secretary-General has the honour to circulate herewith the application of the Republic of Montenegro for admission to membership in the United Nations, contained in a letter dated 5 June 2006 from the President of the Republic of Montenegro to the Secretary-General (see annex).

85.
