22- واستطرد قائلا إن مكاتب اليونيدو المصغّرة أتاحت للمنظمة أن توسّع نطاق حضورها الميداني من خلال استخدام الموظفين الوطنيين، غير أنه ينبغي للمنظمة أن تتوخّى مزيدا من الحذر عند توسيع تمثيلها الميداني، آخذة في اعتبارها توصيات التقييم النهائي المشترك وتوصيات الدول الأعضاء.

In General Conference resolution GC.13/Res.7, the Director-General was requested, inter alia, to conclude an appropriate operational and administrative arrangement with UNDP in 2010, consistent with the findings and recommendations of the joint terminal evaluation and taking into account the requirements of Member States.

In accordance with General Conference resolution GC.13/Res.7 and the recommendations of the joint terminal evaluation of the Cooperation Agreement between UNIDO and UNDP, their type (regional office, country office or desk) and location as well as the timing for their establishment will depend on a review mechanism, currently under development, for the selection of any new field presence.
ووفقا لقرار المؤتمر العام م ع-13/ق-7 وتوصيات التقييم النهائي المشترك لاتفاق التعاون بين اليونيدو وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي، فإن نوع المكاتب (سواء كانت مكاتب إقليمية أم قُطرية أم مكاتب مصغّرة) وموقعها وموعد إنشائها سيتوقف على آلية استعراض يجري إعدادها حاليا من أجل اختيار أي حضور ميداني جديد.

Mr. Martínez-Caro (Spain), speaking on behalf of the European Union (EU), said that the EU commended the UNIDO Evaluation Group for its report and welcomed the results of the joint terminal evaluation of the UNIDO-UNDP Cooperation Agreement.

The Administrator of UNDP and the Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) welcome the overall findings of the evaluation team and agree to continue consultations on ways to strengthen collaboration between their organizations in the light of the joint terminal evaluation report and in the context of United Nations reform and system-wide coherence initiatives.
1 - يعرب مدير برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي والمدير العام لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية (اليونيدو) عن ترحيبهما بالنتائج العامة التي توصل إليها فريق التقييم ويتفقا على مواصلة المشاورات بشأن إيجاد سبل لتعزيز التعاون بين منظمتيهما في ضوء تقرير التقييم النهائي المشترك وفي سياق مبادرات إصلاح الأمم المتحدة والاتساق على نطاق المنظومة.

Based on the recommendations of the joint terminal evaluation of the cooperation agreement between UNIDO and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) (as outlined in document GC.13/6) and as previously announced in document IDB.37/6, UNIDO and UNDP have concluded a temporary agreement through an exchange of letters in June 2010, providing clarity on the continued operation of the UNIDO desks.
4- وبناء على التوصيات المنبثقة عن التقييم النهائي المشترك لاتفاق التعاون بين اليونيدو وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (البرنامج الإنمائي) (حسبما ترد في الوثيقة GC.13/6) ومثلما أُعلِن سابقا في الوثيقة IDB.37/6، فقد أبرمت اليونيدو مع البرنامج الإنمائي اتفاقا مؤقتا من خلال تبادل الرسائل في حزيران/يونيه 2010، وذلك لتوضيح مسألة استمرار تشغيل مكاتب اليونيدو المصغّرة.
