The resolution had restored all of the lawful rights of the People's Republic of China in the United Nations and all its agencies, thus settling once and for all the question of China's representation in the United Nations, politically, legally and procedurally in a just manner.
وقد أعاد القرار لجمهورية الصين الشعبية جميع حقوقها المشروعة في اﻷمم المتحدة وفي وكالاتها كافة، وحسم بذلك، قطعيا وبطريقة عادلة مسألة تمثيل الصين في اﻷمم المتحدة سياسيا وقانونيا وإجرائيا.

2. This year marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the restoration of the lawful rights of the People's Republic of China at the United Nations.
٢ - يوافق هذا العام الذكرى الخامسة والعشرين لاستعادة الحقوق المشروعة لجمهورية الصين الشعبية في اﻷمم المتحدة.

4. As part of the effort to reform and restructure the United Nations, greater attention should be devoted to observing the principle of universality enshrined in the Charter through, inter alia, the restoration of the lawful rights of the Republic of China.
٤ - وأردفت تقول إنه كجزء من الجهود المبذولة ﻹصلاح اﻷمم المتحدة وإعادة تشكيلها، ينبغي تكريس مزيد من الانتباه إلى احترام مبدأ العالمية المنصوص عليه في الميثاق، وذلك من خلال جملة أمور منها إعادة الحقوق المشروعة لجمهورية الصين.

وزاد على ذلك أن هذا القرار أعاد إلى جمهورية الصين الشعبية جميع حقوقها المشروعة في اﻷمم المتحدة وكل وكالاتها، وأخرج سلطات تايوان من هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة المذكورة، مسويا، نهائيا، وبإنصاف، مسألة التمثيل السياسي والقانوني واﻹجرائي للصين في اﻷمم المتحدة.
