6. The Convention establishes a general obligation on all States to cooperate in the conservation and management of the living resources of the high seas.
٦ - تفرض الاتفاقية واجبا عاما على كافة الدول هو أن تتعاون في حفظ الموارد الحية في أعالي البحار وادارتها.

States whose nationals exploit identical living resources, or different living resources in the same area, have an obligation to enter into negotiations with a view to taking the measures necessary for the conservation of the living resources.
ويتعين على الدول التي يستغل رعاياها موارد حية متماثلة، والدول التي يستغل رعاياها موارد حية في المنطقة نفسها، أن تدخل في مفاوضات بغية اتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لحفظ الموارد الحية المعنية.

States whose nationals exploit identical living resources, or different living resources in the same area, shall enter into negotiations with a view to taking the measures necessary for the conservation of the living resources concerned.
