8. Further requests the Secretary-General to take the necessary measures to ensure that United Nations and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation are properly informed and suitably trained so as to enhance their security and effectiveness in accomplishing their functions;
٨ - تطلب كذلك إلى اﻷمين العام أن يتخذ التدابير اللازمة لكفالة حصول موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة وغيرهم من اﻷفراد المرتبطين بها الذين يضطلعون بأنشطة على سبيل الوفاء بولاية إحدى عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة على المعلومات الملائمة والتدريب المناسب من أجل زيادة أمنهم وفعاليتهم في القيام بمهامهم؛

(b) To provide adequate and prompt information concerning the arrest or detention of United Nations and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation;
)ب( تقدم معلومات وافية وفورية بشأن اعتقال أو احتجاز موظفين تابعين لﻷمم المتحدة وغيرهم من اﻷفراد الذين يضطلعون بأنشطة من شأنها الوفاء بولاية إحدى عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة؛

(d) To allow independent medical teams to investigate the health of detained United Nations and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation, and to afford them the necessary medical assistance;
)د( تسمح ﻷفرقة طبية مستقلة بإجراء فحص للحالة الصحية للمحتجزين من موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة وغيرهم من اﻷفراد الذين يضطلعون بأنشطة من شأنها الوفاء بولاية إحدى عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة وأن تتيح لهم المساعدة الطبية اللازمة؛

(b) The obligation of United Nations and associated personnel to act in a manner consistent with the terms of the mandate of a United Nations operation.
)ب( أو التزام موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة واﻷفراد المرتبطين بها بالعمل بما يتفق مع أحكام الولاية المنوطة بعملية اﻷمم المتحدة.

)ز( تأمين خضوع مرتكبي اﻷفعال غير القانونية ضد موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة وغيرهم من العاملين الذين يقومون بأنشطة في النهوض بولاية مسندة إلى عملية من عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة للمساءلة عن أفعالهم؛

(c) To provide adequate and prompt information concerning the arrest or detention of United Nations and associated personnel and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation;
(ج) توفير معلومات كافية وعاجلة بشأن القبض على موظفي الأمم المتحدة والأفراد المرتبطين بها وغيرهم من الأفراد الذين يضطلعون بأنشطة لتنفيذ ولاية مسندة إلى عملية من عمليات الأمم المتحدة، أو بشأن احتجازهم؛

The Secretary-General was requested to submit to the General Assembly, at its fifty-third session, a report on the situation of United Nations and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation who are imprisoned, missing or held in a country against their will, on cases that have been successfully settled and on the implementation of the measures referred to in the resolution.
وطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثالثة والخمسين تقريرا عن حالة موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة وغيرهم من اﻷفراد الذين يضطلعون بأنشطة من شأنها الوفاء بولاية إحدى عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة، والذين هم في السجن أو في عداد المفقودين أو قيد الاحتجاز في بلد ضد إرادتهم، وعن الحالات التي تمت تسويتها بنجاح، وعن تنفيذ التدابير المشار إليها في القرار.

(b) To ensure the speedy release of United Nations and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation who have been arrested or detained in violation of their immunity, in accordance with the relevant conventions referred to in the present resolution and applicable international humanitarian law;
)ب( تكفل اﻹفراج بسرعة عن موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة وغيرهم من اﻷفراد المرتبطين بها الذين يضطلعون بأنشطة من شأنها الوفاء بولاية إحدى عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة والذين تم اعتقالهم أو احتجازهم بما يتنافى مع حصاناتهم، وفقا للاتفاقيات ذات الصلة المشار إليها في هذا القرار وللقانون اﻹنساني الدولي المنطبق؛

(d) To take the necessary measures to ensure that United Nations and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation be properly informed and suitably trained so as to enhance their security and effectiveness in accomplishing their functions;

Recognizing that United Nations and associated personnel, while carrying out their activities in support of the fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation, are acting in the common interests of the international community,
وإذ تسلم بأن موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة واﻷفراد المرتبطين بها إنما يعملون لتحقيق المصلحة المشتركة للمجتمع الدولي، عندما يضطلعون بأنشطتهم دعما ﻹنجاز ولاية عملية من عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة،
