Article 2 of the Nationality Act states that: " Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be equal before the law, irrespective of birth, social or property status, race or nationality, gender, educational level, language, religious persuasion, political and other convictions, type and nature of occupation, and other circumstances.
وتنص المادة 2 من قانون الجنسية على أن: " مواطني جمهورية أوزبكستان متساوون أمام القانون، بصرف النظر عن المولد أوالحالة الاجتماعية أو الملكية أو العرق أو الجنسية أو نوع الجنس أو مستوى التعليم أو اللغة أو المذهب الديني أو القناعات السياسية أو غير السياسية أو نوع المهنة وطبيعتها وغير ذلك من الظروف.

Under article 2 of the Act priority for naturalization is accorded to the children of a Qatari woman, whether male or female, out of humanitarian considerations. The final paragraph of article 2 of the Nationality Act states that Qatari nationality shall be granted to persons of unknown parentage who are born in Qatar. Such persons will be deemed naturalized citizens of unknown parentage born in Qatar unless evidence is provided to the contrary.
كما أعطى القانون القطري الأولوية في التجنس لمن كانت أمه قطرية وذلك للمساواة بين الرجل والمرأة في منح جنسيتهم إلى أبنائهم وفقاً لنص المادة 2 منه وإعلاء للاعتبارات الإنسانية فقد قرر المشرع القطري في المادة 2، الفقرة الأخيرة من قانون الجنسية سالف الذكر منح الجنسية القطرية لمن ولد في قطر لأبوين مجهولين واعتباره في حكم المتجنس كما اعتبر مجهول الأبوين مولوداً في قطر ما لم يثبت العكس.

Each spouse can only be held responsible for behaviour leading to the loss of German citizenship (Article 17 of the Nationality Act) individually.
ولا يجوز اعتبار كل من الزوجين مسؤولا إلا فيما يتصل بالتصرف المفضي إلى فقد الجنسية (المادة 17 من قانون الجنسية)، وذلك على نحو فردي.

155 - وعلاوة على هذا، فإن المادة 71 من قانون الجنسية تنص على أنه " يجوز للمرأة الأجنبية التي تتزوج موريتانيا، إذا ما كان قانون الأحوال الشخصية يسمح لها بالاحتفاظ بجنسيتها الأصلية، أن تتنازل عن اكتساب الجنسية الموريتانية أثناء مهلة تمتد سنة واحدة اعتبارا من بدء سريان هذا القانون " .

32. Austria noted that the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women had expressed concern about several provisions of the Nationality Act, the Personal Status Act and the Civil Code, as well as the lack of a clear definition of discrimination against women in Kuwaiti legislation.
32- ولاحظت النمسا أن لجنة القضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة أعربت عن القلق إزاء عدة أحكام واردة في قانون الجنسية وقانون الأحوال الشخصية والقانون المدني، وإزاء عدم وجود تعريف واضح للتمييز ضد المرأة في التشريع الكويتي.

Before the review of the Nationality Act in 1992, a Swiss national's foreign wife automatically acquired Swiss nationality through marriage, which was not the case with foreign men married to Swiss women. A Swiss woman marrying a foreign man lost her Swiss nationality unless she declared that she wished to keep it.
229 - وقبل تنقيح القانون المتعلق بالجنسية في عام 1992، فإن القرينة الأجنبية السويسرية تكتسب آليا الجنسية السويسرية بالزواج وليست هذه هي حالة القرين الأجنبي لسويسرية والسويسرية التي تتزوج أجنبي تفقد الجنسية السويسرية إلا إذا أعلنت رغبتها في الحقيقة الاحتفاظ بها.
