وإذا رأى مؤتمر اﻷطراف أن هذا المقرر المشاريعي المحدد لا يمتثل لما حدده من سياسات أو معايير لﻷهلية أو أولويات برنامجية، جاز له أن يطلب الى هيئة إدارة كيان التشغيل أن تقدم إيضاحات اضافية عن هذا المقرر المشاريعي المحدد وأن يطلب في الوقت المناسب إعادة النظر ي ذلك المقرر؛

٧١- وبالاضافة الى ذلك، لمؤتمر اﻷطراف أن يوجه انتباه كيان التشغيل الى أية مسألة أخرى ذات صلة بتشغيل اﻵلية المالية للاتفاقية.

The governing body of the operating entity has the responsibility of ensuring that funded projects related to the Convention are in conformity with the policies, programme priorities and eligibility criteria established by the COP.
٨١- تقع على عاتق مجلس ادارة كيان التشغيل مسؤولية ضمان تطابق المشاريع الممولة المتعلقة بالاتفاقية مع السياسات، واﻷولويات البرنامجية، ومعايير اﻷهلية التي يقررها مؤتمر اﻷطراف.

This could then be considered by a joint working party, including representatives of the COP and of the governing body of the operating entity, as well as their respective secretariats, to finalize the draft arrangements and make recommendations for consideration by the COP and the governing body of the operating entity.
وهذا يمكن أن ينظر فيه بعدئذ فريق عامل مشترك يضم ممثلين عن مؤتمر اﻷطراف وعن مجلس إدارة كيان التشغيل وكذلك أمانتي مؤتمر اﻷطراف وكيان التشغيل لوضع الصيغــة النهائيـــة لمشروع الترتيبات ووضع توصيات ينظر فيها مؤتمر اﻷطراف ومجلس ادارة كيان التشغيل.

3. The governing body of the operating entity has the responsibility of ensuring that funded projects related to the Convention are in conformity with the policies, eligibility criteria and programme priorities established by the Conference of the Parties.
٣- يتحمل مجلس إدارة كيان التشغيل المسؤولية عن ضمان تطابق المشاريع الممولة المتصلة بالاتفاقية مع ما أقره مؤتمر اﻷطراف من سياسات ومعايير لﻷهلية وأولويات برنامجية.

4. Regular reports by the Chairman or secretariat of the operating entity to its governing body will be made available to the Conference of the Parties through its secretariat.
٤- تتاح لمؤتمر اﻷطراف، عن طريق أمانته، التقارير الدورية التي يعدها رئيس كيان التشغيل أو أمانته لكي تقدم الى مجلس إدارته.

2. In line with Article 11.1 of the Convention, the Conference of the Parties will, after each of its sessions, communicate to the governing body of the operating entity relevant policy guidance for implementation and action by that governing body, which shall accordingly ensure the conformity of the entity's work with the guidance of the Conference of the Parties.
٢- تمشيا مع الفقرة ١ من المادة ١١ من الاتفاقية، يقوم مؤتمر اﻷطراف، بعد كل دورة من دوراته، بإبلاغ مجلس إدارة كيان التشغيل بتوجيه السياسة العامة ذي الصلة بالتنفيذ والعمل من قبل مجلس الادارة هذا، التي ستكفل بالتالي تطابق أعمال الكيان مع التوجيه الصادر عن مؤتمر اﻷطراف.

5. In addition, the Conference of the Parties should receive and review at each of its sessions a report from the governing body of the operating entity which should include specific information on how it has applied the guidance and decisions of the Conference of the Parties in its work related to the Convention.
٥- وبالاضافة الى ذلك، ينبغي لمؤتمر اﻷطراف أن يتلقى ويستعرض في كل دورة من دوراته تقريرا من مجلس إدارة كيان التشغيل يشمل معلومات محددة عن كيفية تطبيقه لتوجيهات مؤتمر اﻷطراف ومقرراته في أعماله المتصلة بالاتفاقية.

6. In order to meet the requirements of its accountability to the Conference of the Parties, reports submitted by the governing body of the operating entity should cover all its activities carried out in implementing the Convention, whether decisions on such activities are made by the governing body of the operating entity or by bodies operating under its auspices for the implementation of its programme.
٦- لتلبية متطلبات مساءلة مؤتمر اﻷطراف لذلك الكيان، ينبغي للتقارير المقدمة من مجلس إدارة كيان التشغيل أن تغطي جميع اﻷنشطة المضطلع بها تنفيذا للاتفاقية، سواء كانت المقررات المتعلقة بمثل هذه اﻷنشطة صادرة عن مجلس إدارة كيان التشغيل أو عن هيئات تعمل تحت رعايته لتنفيذ برنامجه.

(c) The governing body of the operating entity has the responsibility of ensuring that funded projects related to the Convention are in conformity with the policies, eligibility criteria and programme priorities established by the Conference of the Parties.
