Pursuant to the provisions of article 6 of the Pact of the League of Arab States,
- وبناء على أحكام المادة السادسة من ميثاق جامعة الدول العربية،

Article 5 of the Pact of the League of Arab States, adopted on 22 March 1945, provides that:
49 - تنص المادة 5 من ميثاق جامعة الدول العربية، المعتمد في 22 آذار/مارس 1945()، على ما يلي:

Having regard to the provisions of articles XIX and XX of the Pact of the League of Arab States,
واستناداً إلى أحكام المادتين (19) و (20) من ميثاق جامعة الدول العربية،

Recalling also article 3 of the Pact of the League of Arab States, which entrusts the Council of the League with the function of determining the means whereby the League will collaborate with international organizations to guarantee peace and security, organize social, economic, cultural, administrative, technical and media relations, and enhance and strengthen the League's capacity in those areas,
وإذ تشير أيضا إلى المادة 3 من ميثاق جامعة الدول العربية() التي يعهد بموجبها إلى مجلس الجامعة بمهمة تحديد وسائل تعاون الجامعة مع المنظمات الدولية لكفالة السلام والأمن، وتنظيم العلاقات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والثقافية والإدارية والفنية والإعلامية، وتحسين قدرات الجامعة في تلك المجالات وتعزيزها،
