5.2.3 Maintenance of objections to reservations of the predecessor State

In the absence of any such clarification, a successor State shall be considered as maintaining the interpretative declarations of the predecessor State.
وإذا لم يقدم هذا التوضيح، تعتبر الدولة الخلف قد أبقت على الإعلانات التفسيرية للدولة السلف.

In this respect, as can be seen from paragraph 1 and paragraph 3 of this guideline, there is no doubt that such a successor State may reverse the presumption by expressing its intention not to maintain one or more reservations of the predecessor State.
