The International Labour Organization (ILO) assists the Government in the national implementation of labour standards enshrined in the ILO Conventions and the relevant articles of the present Covenant.
وتساعد منظمة العمل الدولية الحكومة في التنفيذ الوطني لمعايير العمل الواردة في الاتفاقيات والمواد ذات الصلة من هذا العهد.

1. The States Parties to the present Covenant shall furnish their reports in stages, in accordance with a programme to be established by the Economic and Social Council within one year of the entry into force of the present Covenant after consultation with the States Parties and the specialized agencies concerned.
1- تقدم الدول الأطراف في هذا العهد تقاريرها على مراحل، طبقاً لبرنامج يضعه المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في غضون سنة من بدء نفاذ هذا العهد، بعد التشاور مع الدول الأطراف والوكالات المتخصصة المعنية.

(a) Within one year of the entry into force of the present Covenant for the States Parties concerned;
(أ) خلال سنة من بدء نفاذ هذا العهد إزاء الدول الأطراف المعنية؛

1. The States Parties to the present Covenant shall furnish their reports in stages, in accordance with a programme to be established by the Economic and Social Council within one year of the entry into force of the present Covenant after consultation with the States Parties and the specialized agencies concerned.
1- تقدم الدول الأطراف في هذا العهد تقاريرها على مراحل، طبقا لبرنامج يضعه المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في غضون سنة من بدء نفاذ هذا العهد، بعد التشاور مع الدول الأطراف والوكالات المتخصصة المعنية.

" 3. When amendments come into force they shall be binding on those States Parties which have accepted them, other States Parties still being bound by the provisions of the present Covenant and any earlier amendment which they have accepted. "
" ٣ - متى بدأ نفاذ هذه التعديلات تصبح ملزمة للدول اﻷطراف التي قبلتها، بينما تظل الدول اﻷطراف اﻷخرى ملزمة بأحكام هذا العهد وبأي تعديل سابق تكون قد قبلته " .

To the extent that the cases outlined in the review of jurisprudence involve issues of discrimination, they are also relevant to the implementation of article 2.2 and article 3 of the present Covenant.
وبقدر ما تنطوي الدعاوى الواردة في استعراض أحكام القضاء على قضايا عن التمييز، فإنها تكون ذات صلة أيضا بتنفيذ المادة ٢)٢( والمادة ٣ من العهد الحالي.
