The Division will continue to focus on providing support to member States of the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean and of the Presiding Officers of the Conference in their efforts to generate new knowledge on gender indicators and statistics and build capacity for developing and collecting gender statistics to inform decision-making, in particular with regard to women's economic empowerment.
