In this context, the Secretary-General has prepared a series of observations on the conclusions contained in volume V of the report of the Steering Committee (see annex II). Member States are invited to carefully review the conclusions of the independent Steering Committee and the views of OIOS and to draw such conclusions as they deem appropriate.
وفي هذا الصدد، أعد الأمين العام مجموعة من الملاحظات على الاستنتاجات الواردة في المجلد الخامس من تقرير اللجنة التوجيهية (انظر المرفق الثاني). والدول الأعضاء مدعوة إلى أن تستعرض بعناية استنتاجات اللجنة التوجيهية المستقلة وآراء مكتب خدمات الرقابة الداخلية، واستخلاص ما تراه مناسبا من استنتاجات.

7. It should be noted that, with regard to recommendation 3 of volume IV of the report of the Steering Committee, concerning the establishment of the Independent Audit Advisory Committee (IAAC), a separate report of the Secretary-General (A/60/846/Add.7) was submitted, containing updated terms of reference for IAAC, following additional consultations, with a view to recommending action by the General Assembly.
7 - ويجدر بالملاحظة أنه فيما يتصل بالتوصية 3 الواردة في المجلد الرابع من تقرير اللجنة التوجيهية والمتعلقة بإنشاء اللجنة الاستشارية المستقلة للمراجعة، قدم الأمين العام تقريرا منفصلا (A/60/846/Add.7) يرد فيه استكمال لاختصاصات اللجنة الاستشارية المستقلة للمراجعة إثر إجراء مشاورات إضافية، وذلك بغية التوصية باتخاذ إجراءات من جانب الجمعية العامة.
