In response to that request, the above-mentioned report of the Secretary-General on the administration of justice provided information on the disposition of cases and work of the Panel of Counsel for 2005.

In his statement of 24 November 2004 (A/C.5/59/SR.27), the Chairman of the Advisory Committee indicated that the report of the Secretary-General on the administration of justice (A/59/449) was one in a series and that, in fact, the issues discussed in the report had been raised by the Committee as far back as 1985.
3 - وأوضح رئيس اللجنة الاستشارية ، في بيانه المؤرخ 24 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2004 (A/C.5/59/SR.27)، أن تقرير الأمين العام بشأن إقامة العدل (A/59/449) هو واحد من سلسلة تقارير، وأن المواضيع التي ناقشها التقرير، كانت في الواقع، مواضيع أثارتها اللجنة منذ زمن يعود إلى عام 1985.

This request was further to the General Assembly's request for information in paragraph 34 of resolution 66/237 and the reporting on the issue in the previous report of the Secretary-General on the administration of justice at the United Nations.
