3. Arrangements for the activities of the Technical Forum

2. The Technical Forum shall be presided over by the Chairperson of the Technical Forum, who will be responsible for the general conduct of the business of the Forum and the coordination of its work.
٢ - يتولى رئيس الملتقى التقني رئاسة الملتقى، ويكون مسؤولا عن تصريف أعمال الملتقى بوجه عام وعن تنسيق تلك اﻷعمال.

The Chairman of the Technical Forum will report to the Plenary of the Conference on the results and proposals made by various workshops, seminars, forums and symposia organized within the framework of the Technical Forum.
سيقدم رئيس الملتقى التقني تقريرا الى المؤتمر بكامل هيئته حول النتائج والمقترحات المقدمة من مختلف حلقات العمل والحلقات الدراسية والملتقيات والندوات التي نظمت في اطار الملتقى التقني .

13 Activities of the Technical Forum
أنشطة الملتقى التقني

The Chairperson of the Technical Forum will report to the Conference on the outcomes of the technical presentation sessions and workshops which deal with substantive items, as well as other activities organized within the Technical Forum which are deemed important to the work of the Conference, and forward for consideration or information, as appropriate, reports of the various bodies of the Technical Forum.
ويقدم رئيس الملتقى التقني تقارير إلى المؤتمر عن نتائج دورات العروض التقنية وحلقات العمل التي تتناول البنود الفنية، وعن اﻷنشطة اﻷخرى التي يجري تنظيمها في إطار الملتقى التقني ويُرتأى أنها مهمة ﻷعمال المؤتمر، ويرفع للنظر أو العلم، حسب الاقتضاء، تقارير مختلف هيئات الملتقى التقني.

3. The organizers of each workshop of the Technical Forum shall appoint a chairperson and any other officers for the workshop as may be deemed necessary for the conduct of its work.
٣ - يعيﱢن منظمو كل حلقة عمل تُعقد في إطار الملتقى التقني رئيسا وموظفين آخرين لهذه الحلقة، حسبما تقتضيه الضرورة، من أجل إنجاز أعمالها.

2. The Conference, the main committees and the Chairperson of the Technical Forum may establish such working groups as they deem necessary for the performance of their functions.
٢ - يجوز للمؤتمر، وللجنتين الرئيسيتين، ولرئيس الملتقى التقني إنشاء أفرقة عاملة كما يرتأونه ضروريا من أجل أداء وظائفهم. رابعا - أعضاء المكتب

The General Assembly commended efforts to organize UNISPACE III within existing resources; recognized the contribution of the Technical Forum and the Space Generation Forum to its success; and expressed its satisfaction with the Conference's outcomes.
أشادت الجمعية العامة بالجهود المبذولة لتنظيم اليونيسبيس الثالث في حدود الموارد الحالية، ولاحظت مساهمة المنتدى التقني ومنتدى جيل الفضاء في نجاحه، وأعربت عن ارتياحها لنتائج المؤتمر.

The Preparatory and Advisory Committees of the Conference had made considerable progress in the preparations for UNISPACE III. On the basis of the work of the Advisory Committee, the Preparatory Committee had made a number of recommendations, including recommendations relating to the draft report and provisional rules of procedure of UNISPACE III and the organization of the Technical Forum as a technical body of the Conference.
وقد أحرزت لجنتا المؤتمر التحضيرية والاستشارية تقدما كبيرا في اﻹعداد لمؤتمر يونيسبيس الثالث. وبناء على عمل اللجنة الاستشارية، قدمت اللجنة التحضيرية عددا من التوصيات، بما في ذلك التوصيات المتعلقة بمشروع التقرير، والنظام الداخلي المؤقت لمؤتمر يونيسبيس الثالث، وتنظيم المنتدى التقني بوصفه هيئة تقنية للمؤتمر.

The Preparatory Committee noted with satisfaction that, through voluntary contributions, the executive secretariat had been able to provide a limited amount of financial assistance to delegations of least developed countries and persons from developing countries who would be participating in activities of the Technical Forum.
ولاحظت اللجنة التحضيرية مع الارتياح أن اﻷمانة التنفيذية تمكنت، بفضل التبرعات، من تقديم مقدار محدود من المساعدة المالية لوفود أقل البلدان نموا وﻷشخاص من البلدان النامية سوف يشاركون في أنشطة المحفل التقني.

The Working Group of the Whole agreed that the bureau of the Conference should consist of the following 10 officers: Chairman, First Vice-Chairman and Second Vice-Chairman/Rapporteur of the Plenary; Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Rapporteur of Committee I; Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Rapporteur of Committee II; and Chairman of the Technical Forum.
