77. One of the Council's first actions was the adoption on 29 June 2006 of the text of the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the recommendation of its final adoption by the General Assembly.

36. It was also noted that, during the process of negotiating the Doha declaration, the spirit of Vienna should be preserved, including in the informal consultations leading to the finalization of the text of the Declaration.
36 - وأُشير أيضا إلى أنه، خلال عملية التفاوض بشأن مؤتمر الدوحة، يجب الحفاظ على روح فيينا، بما في ذلك الحفاظ عليها في المشاورات غير الرسمية المؤدية إلى وضع نص الإعلان في صيغته النهائية.
