9. Decides that the following issues shall be considered in workshops within the framework of the Thirteenth Congress:
9- تقرِّر أن يُنظرَ في المسائل التالية في حلقات عمل تُعقد ضمن إطار المؤتمر الثالث عشر:

(iv) the United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (including servicing of the Thirteenth Congress in 2015);

4. All delegations warmly thanked the Government of Qatar for its generous hospitality and for providing Member States with an important platform to have a dialogue on the preparations for and on the outcome of the Thirteenth Congress.

6. Requests the Commission to approve at its twentyfirst session the overall theme, the agenda items and the topics for the workshops of the Thirteenth Congress.

13. Invites Member States to be represented at the Thirteenth Congress at the highest possible level, for example, by Heads of State or Government, Government ministers or attorneys general, to make statements on the theme and topics of the Thirteenth Congress and to participate actively in the high-level segment;
13- تدعو الدول الأعضاء إلى أن يكون ممثلوها في المؤتمر الثالث عشر على أعلى مستوى ممكن، مثل رؤساء دول أو حكومات أو وزراء حكوميين أو وزراء عدل، وإلى الإدلاء ببيانات بشأن الموضوع المحوري للمؤتمر الثالث عشر ومواضيعه الفرعية، وإلى المشاركة بنشاط في الجزء الرفيع المستوى؛

El Salvador suggested as a general theme of the Thirteenth Congress the prevention and control of new forms of crime, including environmental crime, trafficking in cultural property and cybercrime.
26- اقترحت السلفادور أن يكون الموضوع العام للمؤتمر الثالث عشر هو منع ومكافحة أشكال العنف الجديدة، بما فيها الجريمة البيئية والاتجار بالممتلكات الثقافية والجريمة السيبرانية.

The General Assembly, in its resolution 66/179, requested the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to approve the overall theme, the agenda items and the topics of the workshops of the Thirteenth Congress at its twenty-first session.
47- طلبت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها 66/179، إلى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية أن تقرّ في دورتها الحادية والعشرين الموضوع العام للمؤتمر الثالث عشر وبنود جدول أعماله ومواضيع حلقات العمل التي ستُعقد في إطاره.

The Commission may wish to bear in mind that the earlier that a decision is taken on the overall theme, the agenda items and the workshop topics of the Thirteenth Congress, the easier it will be to undertake preparatory activities.
48- ولعل اللجنة تضع في اعتبارها أنَّ من شأن التبكير بالبت في الموضوع العام للمؤتمر الثالث عشر وبنود جدول أعماله ومواضيع حلقات العمل التي ستُعقد في إطاره أن يسهّل الاضطلاع بالأنشطة التحضيرية.

Recalling its resolution 67/184 of 20 December 2012, in which it approved the main theme, the agenda items and the topics for the workshops of the Thirteenth Congress and decided that the duration of the Thirteenth Congress should not exceed eight days, including pre-Congress consultations,

19. Also requests the Secretary-General to provide the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime with the necessary resources, from within the overall appropriations of the programme budget for the biennium 2014 - 2015, to support the preparations for and holding of the Thirteenth Congress;

Consultations with other organizations and entities will also take place in order to seek their support in advancing the aims of the Thirteenth Congress.
