The draft resolution therefore invites the Secretary-General of the United Nations to take the necessary measures, in consultation with the Secretary-General of the Caribbean Community, to promote and expand cooperation and coordination between the two secretariats in order to increase the capacity of the two organizations to attain their common objectives.
ولذلك يدعو مشروع القرار اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة إلى أن يتخذ التدابير المناسبة، بالتشاور مع اﻷمين العام للجماعة الكاريبية، لتعزيز وتوسيع نطاق التعاون والتنسيق بين اﻷمانتين بغية زيادة قدرة المنظمتين على بلوغ أهدافهما المشتركة.
