The Advisory Committee recommends that Member States be credited their respective shares of the unencumbered balance and other income for the period in question in a manner to be determined by the General Assembly.

6. Decides also that, for Member States that have not fulfilled their financial obligations to the Mission, their share of the unencumbered balance and other income in the total amount of 16,775,900 dollars in respect of the financial period ended 30 June 2005 shall be set off against their outstanding obligations in accordance with the scheme set out in paragraph 5 above;

19. Decides further that, for Member States that have not fulfilled their financial obligations to the Mission, there shall be set off against their outstanding obligations their respective share of the unencumbered balance and other income in the amount of 54,054,600 dollars in respect of the financial period ended 30 June 2004, in accordance with the scheme set out in paragraph 18 above;

The General Assembly was being requested to decide to appropriate commitment authority of $41 million gross, to decide on the treatment of the unencumbered balance and of other income for the period, and to decide that the special arrangements regarding article IV of the financial regulations of the United Nations be applied to MONUC.

Also decides that, for Member States that have not fulfilled their financial obligations to the Mission, there shall be set off against their outstanding obligations their respective share of the unencumbered balance and other income in the total amount of 12,289,500 dollars in respect of the financial period ended 30 June 2002, in accordance with the scheme set out in paragraph 16 above;
17 - تقرر أيضا، بالنسبة للدول الأعضاء التي لم تف بالتزاماتها المالية للبعثة، أن تخصم من حصة كل منها من الرصيد غير المربوط ومن الإيرادات الأخرى البالغة 500 289 12 دولار فيما يتعلق بالفترة المالية المنتهية في 30 حزيران/يونيه 2002، التزاماتها غير المسددة، وفقا للخطة المبينة في الفقرة 16 أعلاه؛

c/ Under the terms of General Assembly resolution 57/318 dated 18 June 2003, an amount of $8,532,250 in respect of the unencumbered balance and other income for the period ended 30 June 2002 is applied to the resources required for the period from 1 July 2003 to 30 June 2004.
