2. Pays tribute to the accomplishments of the Mission of the United Nations in El Salvador, under the authority of the Secretary-General and his Special Representative;

The international community's commitment to peace, stability and development in that country was recently reaffirmed by the extension of the Mission of the United Nations in El Salvador (MINUSAL).
