The chairpersons note that individual States parties should act as rapidly as possible to notify the Secretary-General of their acceptance of the amendments.
ويلاحظ الرؤساء أن كل دولة من الدول اﻷطراف ينبغي لها أن تعمل بأسرع ما يمكن على إبلاغ اﻷمين العام بقبولها للتعديلات.

The Council may fix a time within which Contracting Parties shall notify the Depositary of their acceptance of the amendment, and, if the amendment has not become effective by such time, it shall be considered withdrawn.
ويجوز للمجلس أن يحدد مهلة تقوم خلالها الأطراف المتعاقدة بإشعار الوديع بقبولها التعديل، وإذا لم يصبح التعديل ساري المفعول في نهاية هذه المهلة، يعتبر التعديل مسحوباً.

7. Urges all States parties to the Convention to notify the Secretary-General of their acceptance of the amendments to articles 17 and 18 of the Convention as soon as possible;
7 - تحث جميع الدول الأطراف على أن تخطر الأمين العام، في أقرب وقت ممكن، بقبولها لتعديلات المادتين 17 و 18 من الاتفاقية؛

6- ويدعو مجلس حقوق الإنسان جميع الدول الأطراف في الاتفاقية التي لم تخطر بعد الأمين العام بقبولها تعديلات المادتين 17 و18 إلى أن تبادر إلى ذلك في أقرب وقت ممكن بغية تعزيز فعالية لجنة مناهضة التعذيب.
