International civil servants should not use information to personal advantage that has not been made public and is known to them by virtue of their official position.
كما ينبغي ألا يستغل موظفو الخدمة المدنية الدولية لمصلحتهم الشخصية معلومات لم تعلن أتيحت لهم بحكم مركزهم الرسمي.

They shall not communicate to any Government, entity, person or any other source any information known to them by reason of their official position that they know or ought to have known has not been made public, except as appropriate in the normal course of their duties or by authorization of the Secretary-General.
ولا يجوز لهم أن ينقلوا إلى أي حكومة أو كيان أو شخص أو أية جهة أخرى أية معلومات يكونون قد اطلعوا عليها بحكم مركزهم الرسمي ويعلمون، أو يُفترض أنهم يعلمون، أنها لم تعمم، إلا إذا كان ذلك مما يقتضيه الأداء المعتاد لواجباتهم أو بإذن من الأمين العام.

132. The Government feels that " it is obviously important for the effective implementation of the Code that officials, including heads of State or Government, are not relieved of criminal responsibility by virtue of their official position.
١٣٢ - ترى هذه الحكومة أنه " من الواضح أن من اﻷهمية بمكان بالنسبة لتنفيذ المدونة على نحو فعال ألا يعفى المسؤولون، بمن فيهم رؤساء الدول أو الحكومات، من كل مسؤولية جنائية بحكم منصبهم الرسمي.

كما لا ينبغي لموظفي الخدمة المدنية الدولية أن يستغلوا لمصلحة شخصية معلومات لم تعلن وتكون معروفة لديهم بحكم مركزهم الرسمي.
