8- ناقش الفريق العامل في عدّة مناسبات مسائل جمع الأموال وسبل تحقيق توازن مستدام بين التمويل الأساسي والتمويل غير الأساسي لمكتب المخدِّرات والجريمة من أجل ضمان القدرة الإنجازية والاستدامة في البرامج المواضيعية والإقليمية.

Several speakers stressed that the working group had been an important forum for dialogue among Member States, and between them and the Secretariat, particularly as regards the development of thematic and regional programmes and the re-establishment of an independent evaluation function within the Office.
11- وشدّد عدة متكلمين على أن الفريق العامل لا يزال يُعدّ منتدى هامّا للحوار بين الدول الأعضاء، وبينها وبين الأمانة، وخصوصا فيما يتعلق بتطوير البرامج المواضيعية والإقليمية وإعادة إنشاء وظيفة تقييم مستقل داخل المكتب.
