٢٠ - تطلب إلى اللجنة أن تدرس آثار المؤتمر العالمي لحقوق الانسان وإعلان وبرنامج عمل فيينا اللذين اتخذهما المؤتمر)٩( على دور اللجنة الرئيسي في مجال المسائل المتصلة بحقوق المرأة في نطاق منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة ، وأن تقدم تقريرا إلى المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في دورته الموضوعية لعام ١٩٩٤؛

The report provides an assessment of progress made in promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women within the United Nations system since the adoption of the aforementioned resolution on 24 July 2013.
ويقدم التقرير تقييما للتقدم المحرز في مجال تعزيز المساواة بين الجنسين وتمكين المرأة داخل منظومة الأمم المتحدة منذ اتخاذ القرار المذكور أعلاه في 24 تموز/يوليه 2013.

The meeting was held in New York from 14 to 16 November 2007 and was attended by established experts who discussed the latest research and analyses, identified good practices and lessons learned, and developed independent recommendations on policies and practices to advance the status of women within the United Nations system.

In addition, regional and country offices will promote coordination in the areas of gender equality and the empowerment of women within the United Nations system through participation in joint evaluation, United Nations Development Assistance Framework evaluations, " Delivering as one " evaluations and any relevant system-wide evaluation exercise at the regional or country level.

The Ministers recognized the central and coordinating role of the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN-Women), in cooperation with other relevant UN entities within their respective mandate, to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women within the United Nations system, and to support all states efforts in promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women.
708- أقر الوزراء بالدور المحوري والتنسيقي الذي تقوم به هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمساواة بين الجنسين وتمكين المرأة (هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة)، بالتعاون مع كيانات الأمم المتحدة الأخرى ذات الصلة، في تعزيز المساواة بين الجنسين وتمكين المرأة داخل منظومة الأمم المتحدة وكذلك في دعم جهود جميع الدول الرامية إلى تعزيز المساواة بين الجنسين وتمكين المرأة.
