The INCD continued work on these issues at its eighth session in two Working Groups, in accordance with resolution 6/1 on the organization and programme of work for the interim period.

In this connection, the INCD adopted, at the sixth session, resolution 6/1 on the organization and programme of work for the interim period.

The INCD initiated work on these issues at its seventh session in two working groups, in accordance with resolution 6/1 on the organization and programme of work for the interim period.

This latter document was prepared by the secretariat in response to a request from the INCD by virtue of paragraph 5 of its resolution 6/1 entitled " Organization and programme of work for the interim period " (A/50/74, appendix II).
وكانت الأمانة قد أعدت هذه الوثيقة تلبية لطلب وجهته إليها لجنة التفاوض الحكومية الدولية في الفقرة 5 من قرارها 6/1 المعنون " تنظيم الأعمال وبرنامج العمل للفترة المؤقتة " (A/50/74، التذييل الثاني).

While the resolution on the programme of work for the interim period treated " financial rules " and " programme and budget " as a single item, for reasons of conveniance these issues are presented here and in the documentation as two separate items.
وعلى حين عالج القرار المتعلق ببرنامج العمل للفترة المؤقتة " القواعد المالية " و " البرنامج والميزانية " كبند مفرد، تعرض هاتان المسألتان في هذا المقام وفي الوثائق، موافقة للغرض، على أنهما بندان مستقلان.

1. At its sixth session, the INCD adopted a resolution on the organization and programme of work for the interim period (document A/AC.241/L.24).

21. At its 12th meeting, on 18 January, the Committee had before it a draft resolution (A/AC.241/L.24) entitled " Organization and programme of work for the interim period " , submitted by the Chairman on the basis of informal consultations.
٢١ - كان معروضــا على اللجنة، في جلستها ١٢ المعقــودة في ١٨ كانون الثــاني/يناير، مشروع قــرار (A/AC.241/L.24) معنون " تنظيم اﻷعمال وبرنامج العمل للفترة المؤقتة " قدمه الرئيس على أساس مشاورات غير رسمية.

1. In paragraph 4 of its resolution on the organization and programme of work for the interim period adopted at the sixth session (document A/AC.241/L.24), the Committee requested the Interim Secretariat to compile information on the identification of an organization to house the Global Mechanism.
١- طلبت اللجنة الى اﻷمانة المؤقتة، في الفقرة ٤ من قرارها المتعلق بتنظيم اﻷعمال وبرنامج العمل للفترة المؤقتة الذي اعتمدته في دورتها السادسة )الوثيقة (A/AC.242/L.24، تجميع معلومات بشأن تحديد منظمة لتكون مقراً لﻵلية العالمية.

١ - طلبت اللجنة، في الفقرة ٥ من قرارها ٦/١ المعنون " تنظيم اﻷعمال وبرنامج العمل للفترة المؤقتة " )انظر الوثيقة A/50/74، التذييل الثاني( الذي اعتمدته في دورتها السادسة، إلى اﻷمانة العامة أن تقوم بإعداد وثائق حول " اجراءات لحل المسائل المتعلقة بالتنفيذ " ﻷجل الدورة الثامنة.

1- طلبت لجنة التفاوض الحكومية الدولية إلى الأمانة المؤقتة في الفقرة 5 من قرارها 6/1 المعنون " تنظيم الأعمال وبرنامج العمل للفترة المؤقتة " (A/50/74، التذييل الثاني)، الذي اعتمدته في دورتها السادسة، أن تعد مشاريع مرفقات بشأن التوفيق والتحكيم من أجل دورتها الثامنة.

Paragraph 6 of resolution 6/1 on the programme of work for the interim period requested " INCD Members, United Nations programmes and agencies, as well as relevant intergovernmental organizations, to submit to the Secretariat updated reports on measures taken or planned for the implementation of the urgent action for Africa and action in other regions... " .
وقد طُلب في الفقرة ٦ من القرار ٦/١ المتعلق ببرنامج العمل للفترة المؤقتة " من أعضاء لجنة التفاوض الحكومية الدولية، وبرامج ووكالات اﻷمم المتحدة، فضلا عن المنظمات الحكومية الدولية ذات الصلة، تزويد اﻷمانة العامة بتقارير مستكملة حول التدابير المتخذة، أو المزمع اتخاذها من أجل تنفيذ الاجراءات العاجلة لصالح افريقيا والاجراءات في المناطق اﻷخرى ... " .
