18. Uganda provided gender-disaggregated data for the period 2003-2008 on juveniles in pre-sentence detention in one remand home, data disaggregated by gender and category of offence in all remand homes as at May 2008 and data on the time elapsed from the reporting of the offence to the sentencing, disaggregated according to the category of criminal offence.
18- وقدّمت أوغندا بيانات مصنّفة حسب نوع الجنس للفترة 2003-2008، تتعلق بالأحداث المحتجزين قبل صدور الحكم عليهم في مركز احتجاز واحد، وبيانات مصنّفة حسب نوع الجنس وحسب فئة الجريمة في جميع مراكز الاحتجاز حتى 1 أيار/مايو 2008، وبيانات عن الوقت المنقضي منذ الإبلاغ عن الجريمة حتى إصدار الحكم، مصنّفة حسب فئة الجريمة.

82. Under article 14, paragraph 1, of Law No. 3 of 1983 on juveniles, where an underage person commits a crime punishable by death, the judge in the case is required to sentence him to a term of imprisonment of not more than ten years.
82- كما نصت الفقرة (أ) من المادة ١٤ من القانون رقم ٣ لسنة ١٩٨٣ في شأن الأحداث على وجوب أن يحكم القاضي بالحبس مدة لا تزيد على عشر سنوات إذا ارتكب الحدث الذي لم يكمل الثامنة عشرة من العمر جناية عقوبتها الإعدام.

(d) The Ministry of Justice, in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Social Affairs, and with support from UNICEF, is setting up a database on juveniles (as backup for the juvenile justice system). The authorities linked to the database will be the juvenile police, the juvenile prosecution service, the juvenile court and the social services.
(د) تسعى وزارة العدل بالتنسيق مع وزارة الداخلية والشؤون الاجتماعية إلى تفعيل قاعدة بيانات ومعلومات الأحداث بالاشتراك مع الجهات المذكورة بدعم من منظمة اليونيسيف (استكمال منظومة قضاء الأحداث) وربط الجهات المعنية بقاعدة البيانات وهي: (شرطة الأحداث، نيابة الأحداث، محكمة الأحداث، الرعاية الاجتماعية).
