His delegation supported the Department's work relating to the dissemination of information on Peace-keeping Operations and development, but believed that more should be done to disseminate objective information on human rights violations occurring in various parts of the world, such as Bosnia, Rwanda and the State of Kashmir, which had been occupied by more than one million Indian troops and placed under a reign of terror.
