75. I welcome the commitment of the Cameroonian authorities to host the regional Summit on piracy in the Gulf of Guinea in June within the framework of efforts to implement the recommendations made by the Security Council in its resolution 2018 (2011).
75 - وأرحب بالتزام السلطات الكاميرونية باستضافة مؤتمر القمة الإقليمي بشأن القرصنة في خليج غينيا في حزيران/يونيه في إطار الجهود الرامية إلى تنفيذ التوصيات التي قدمها مجلس الأمن في قراره 2018 (2011).

22. Momentum in favour of a regional action plan increased after Seychelles hosted a regional ministerial conference on piracy on 21 May 2010, an international symposium on maritime security on 12 and 13 July, and a technical workshop on 19 and 20 July on piracy in the Western Indian Ocean.

As a follow-up, UNODC is working to support implementation of the recommendations of the assessment mission, as well as Security Council resolutions 2018 (2011) and 2039 (2012), on piracy in the Gulf of Guinea, primarily focusing on law enforcement training and support for legislative reform.
ويعمل المكتب، في إطار متابعته لهذا الشأن، على دعم تنفيذ التوصيات الصادرة عن بعثة التقييم الموفدة، وكذلك قرارات مجلس الأمن 2018 (2011) و2039 (2012) بشأن القرصنة في خليج غينيا، بالتركيز أساسا على التدريب على إنفاذ القانون ودعم الإصلاح التشريعي.

In addition, following the adoption of Security Council resolutions 2018 (2011) and 2039 (2012) on piracy in the Gulf of Guinea, UNOWA, in close coordination with the United Nations Regional Office for Central Africa, supported the implementation of the regional strategic framework for efforts against piracy and armed robbery in the Gulf of Guinea.

Requests States and regional organizations to support sustainable economic growth in Somalia thus contributing to a durable eradication of piracy and armed robbery at sea off the coast of Somalia, as well as other illegal activities connected therewith, in particular in priority areas recommended by the Istanbul conference on piracy in Somalia;
5 - يطلب إلى الدول والمنظمات الإقليمية دعم النمو الاقتصادي المستدام في الصومال بما يسهم في القضاء بصورة دائمة على القرصنة والسطو المسلح في البحر قبالة سواحل الصومال، فضلا عن الأنشطة غير القانونية الأخرى المتصلة بذلك، ولا سيما في المجالات ذات الأولوية التي أوصى بها مؤتمر اسطنبول بشأن القرصنة في الصومال؛

5.
