6. It should be noted that on 2 June 2004 the Agreement on Succession Issues among the five successor states of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia entered into force.

I have the honour to transmit the statement by the delegation of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in the Working Group on Succession Issues of the International Conference on the Former Yugoslavia.

The Yugoslav side proposed that Sir Arthur Watts host, in his capacity as Special Negotiator, the next meeting of the Working Group on Succession Issues at the time convenient for all participants if he considered that the last draft agreement necessitated a more specific declaration of other participants.
