93. From the first years of their independence, the five Central Asian States had begun to implement article VII of the Treaty, which provided for the conclusion of regional treaties and agreements on the establishment of nuclear-weapon-free zones.

3. Welcomes the steps taken to conclude further nuclear-weapon-free zone treaties on the basis of arrangements freely arrived at among the States of the region concerned and calls upon all States to consider all relevant proposals, including those reflected in its resolutions on the establishment of nuclear-weapon-free zones in the Middle East and South Asia;
٣ - ترحب بالتدابير المتخذة ﻹبرام معاهدات أخرى لمناطق خالية من اﻷسلحة النووية على أساس ترتيبات يجرى التوصل إليها طوعا فيما بين دول المنطقة المعنية وتدعو جميع الدول إلى النظر في جميع المقترحات ذات الصلة، بما في ذلك تلك الواردة في قراراتها والمتعلقة بإنشاء مناطق خالية من اﻷسلحة النووية في الشرق اﻷوسط وجنوب آسيا؛

International peace and security appear to be further assured and strengthened as treaties on the establishment of nuclear-weapon-free zones are adopted by many States of various regions.
ويبدو أن السلم واﻷمن الدوليين يزدادان تأكيدا وتعزيزا باعتمــاد دول عديــدة من مختلف المنــاطق معاهدات ﻹنشاء مناطق خالية من اﻷسلحة النووية.

The Russian Federation has already extended such assurances to more than 100 countries that have acceded to the relevant agreements on the establishment of nuclear-weapon-free zones.

5. The General Assembly has over the years adopted numerous resolutions on the establishment of nuclear-weapon-free zones in different regions of the world, which reflects the continuing interest of the international community in the establishment of such zones.
