One report will focus on the Interrelationship between Investment and trade and the other will be devoted to regional cooperation, especially with respect to trade facilitation and the adoption of regional norms and standards (1 per year);

Economic and Social Council resolution 1993/69 requests the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development to submit to the Commission on Science and Technology for Development at its second session a report on the results obtained from the Work of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Interrelationship between Investment and Technology Transfer.
يطلب قرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ٣٩٩١/٩٦ الى اﻷمين العام لمؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية أن يقدم إلى اللجنة المعنية بستخير العلم والتكنولوجيا ﻷغراض التنمية في دورتها الثانية تقريرا عن النتائج التي تحققت من خلال أعمال الفريق العامل المخصص المعني بالترابط بين الاستثمار ونقل التكنولوجيا.

Particular reference was also made to the activities of UNCTAD and of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Interrelationship between Investment and Technology Transfer (E/CN.16/1995.10).

Requests the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development to submit to the Commission on Science and Technology for Development at its second session a report on the results obtained through the work of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Interrelationship between Investment and Technology Transfer;
٢ - يطلب إلى اﻷمين العام لمؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية أن يقدم إلى اللجنة المعنية بتسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا ﻷغراض التنمية تقريرا عن النتائج التي تحققت من خلال أعمال الفريق العامل المخصص المعني بالترابط بين الاستثمار ونقل التكنولوجيا؛

11A.143 The outcome of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Interrelationship between Investment and Technology Transfer, as well as the results of the Uruguay Round of multilateral trade negotiations, will be taken into account in carrying out the work involved.
١١ ألف - ١٤٣ وستراعى في تنفيذ اﻷعمال التي ينطوي عليها هذا البرنامج الفرعي محصلة أعمال الفريق العامل المخصص المعني بالترابط بين الاستثمار ونقل التكنولوجيا فضلا عن نتائج جولة أوروغواي للمفاوضات التجارية المتعددة اﻷطراف.

17. The findings and conclusions of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Interrelationship between Investment and Technology Transfer and the outcome of the Uruguay Round of multilateral trade negotiations reviewed above shed light on the important evolution that has occurred in recent years in the perception of technology issues since the start of the discussions on an international code of conduct on the transfer of technology.
١٧ - إن نتائج واستنتاجات الفريق العامل المخصص المعني بالترابط بين الاستثمار ونقل التكنولوجيا، ونتيجة جولة أوروغواي للمفاوضات التجارية المتعددة اﻷطراف التي استعرضت أعلاه تلقي الضوء على ما حدث من تطور هام في اﻷعوامل اﻷخيرة في مفهوم قضايا التكنولوجيا منذ بدء المناقشات المتعلقة بوضع مدونة دولية لقواعد السلوك في نقل التكنولوجيا.

17. The findings and conclusions of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Interrelationship between Investment and Technology Transfer and the outcome of the Uruguay Round of Multilateral Trade Negotiations reviewed above shed light on the important evolution that has occurred in recent years in the perception of technology issues since the inception of the discussions on an international code of conduct on the transfer of technology.
٧١- إن نتائج واستنتاجات الفريق العامل المخصص المعني بالترابط بين الاستثمار ونقل التكنولوجيا، ونتيجة جولة أوروغواي للمفاوضات التجارية المتعددة اﻷطراف التي استعرضت أعلاه تلقي الضوء على ما حدث من تطور هام في اﻷعوام اﻷخيرة في مفهوم قضايا التكنولوجيا منذ بدء المناقشات بشأن وضع مدونة دولية لقواعد السلوك في نقل التكنولوجي.

Consequently, the Committee on Transfer of Technology was suspended and a new Ad Hoc Working Group on the Interrelationship between Investment and Technology Transfer was created, which completed its work in March 1994.
ونتيجة لذلك، عُلﱢقت اللجنة المعنية بنقل التكنولوجيا وأنشئ فريق جديد هو الفريق العامل المخصص للترابط بين الاستثمار ونقل التكنولوجيا الذي أنجز أعماله في آذار/مارس ٤٩٩١.

3. Pursuant to the Cartagena Commitment, the Trade and Development Board established the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Interrelationship between Investment and Technology Transfer.
٣- عملا بالتزام كرتاخينا، أنشأ مجلس التجارة والتنمية الفريق العامل المخصص للترابط بين الاستثمار ونقل التكنولوجيا)٣(.

It should be mentioned that the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Interrelationship between Investment and Technology Transfer, under the Trade and Development Board of UNCTAD, has a set of very specific mandates and is expected to complete its work in 1994.
١٧ - وجدير بالذكر أن لدى الفريق العامل المخصص للترابط بين الاستثمار ونقل التكنولوجيا، التابع لمجلس التجارة والتنمية لﻷونكتاد، مجموعة من الولايات المحددة جدا ومن المتوقع أن ينجز أعماله في عام ١٩٩٤.

In consonance with Trade and Development Board resolution 393 (XXXVIII), the work programme of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Interrelationship between Investment and Technology Transfer (TD/B/WG.5/3) included the examination of:

11. The Board's Ad Hoc Working Group on the Interrelationship between Investment and Technology Transfer has agreed on a work programme composed of three priority areas, one of which, " Transfer and development of environmentally sound technologies " , contains the following elements relevant to the implementation of Agenda 21:
١١ - اتفق الفريق العامل المخصص للترابط بين الاستثمار ونقل التكنولوجيا التابع للمجلس على برنامج عمل مكون من ثلاثة مجالات ذات أولوية، أحدها " نقل واستحداث تكنولوجيات سليمة بيئيا " ، يتضمن العناصر التالية ذات الصلة بتنفيذ جدول أعمال القرن ٢١:

14. At its 828th meeting, on 21 September, the Board decided to refer agenda item 9 (b) to the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Interrelationship between Investment and Technology Transfer for further consideration.
