ونسترعى انتباهكم للفقرة 12 من القرار التي تطلب إبلاغ الأمين العام ورئيس مجلس الأمن بأهمية إبقاء هذه القضية ضمن المسائل المعروضة على مجلس الأمن، إلى أن تنهي إيران احتلالها للجزر العربية الثلاث، وتسترد دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة سيادتها بالكامل عليها.

5. To state its support for keeping the issue on the list of matters of which the Security Council is seized and to request the Secretary-General to inform the United Nations of the importance of keeping the issue on that list until such time as Iran ends its occupation of the three islands and the United Arab Emirates regains complete sovereignty over them;
٥ - اﻹعلان عن تأييده ﻹبقاء القضية ضمن المسائل المعروضة على جدول أعمال مجلس اﻷمن، والطلب من اﻷمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية إبلاغ اﻷمم المتحدة بأهمية بقاء القضية ضمن المسائل المعروضة على مجلس اﻷمن الى أن تنهي إيران احتلالها للجزر الثلاث وتسترد دولة اﻹمارات العربية المتحدة سيادتها الكاملة عليها.

9. 10. To inform the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the Security Council of the importance of maintaining the issue on the list of matters of which the Security Council is seized until Iran ends its occupation of the three Arab islands and the United Arab Emirates regains its full sovereignty over them;
10 - إبلاغ الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة ورئيس مجلس الأمن الدولي بأهمية إبقاء القضية ضمن المسائل المعروضة على مجلس الأمن الدولي، إلى أن تنهي إيران احتلالها للجزر العربية الثلاث، وتسترد دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة سيادتها الكاملة عليها.

The Committee believes that pending a comprehensive, just and lasting settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict, the core of which is the question of Palestine, in accordance with international legitimacy, these items should remain on the list of matters of which the Council is seized, as they continue to involve its primary responsibility with regard to the maintenance of international peace and security.
وترى اللجنة أنه طالما لم تتحقق تسوية شاملة وعادلة ومستديمة للنزاع العربي الإسرائيلي، الذي تمثل قضية فلسطين جوهره، وفقا للشرعية الدولية، فإن هذه البنود يجب أن تبقى على قائمة المسائل المعروضة على المجلس لأنها لا تزال تدخل في مسؤوليته الأساسية المتعلقة بصون السلم والأمن الدوليين.

Subsequently, in accordance with the procedure set out in document S/1996/704, a Member State notified the Secretary-General of its wish to have item 31 above, “The situation between Iran and Iraq”, retained on the list of matters of which the Security Council is seized.
