٦١ - تُعلن اتفاقية عام ١٩٤٨ لمنع جريمة اﻹبادة الجماعية والمعاقبة عليها أن اﻹبادة الجماعية جريمة بموجب القانون الدولي وتلزم الدول بالمعاقبة على جريمة اﻹبادة الجماعية التي تقع في إقليمها.
