58. In light of its general comment No. 9 (2006) on the rights of children with disabilities, the Committee urges the State party:

279. The Committee recommends that the State party, taking into account the Committee's general comment No. 9 on the rights of children with disabilities and the Standard Rules on the Equalization of Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (General Assembly resolution 48/96):

Furthermore, the Committee recommends that the State party take all necessary measures to implement its legal provisions on inclusive education by training teachers, providing schools with the necessary equipment and raising awareness among school staff, children and the general public on the rights of children with disabilities, especially those with mental disabilities.

20. In September 2006, the Committee on the Rights of the Child adopted its general comment No. 9 on the rights of children with disabilities.

1501. During the day of general discussion on the rights of children with disabilities held in 1997, it was decided to establish a working group to promote implementation of the recommendations arising from the day.

As for professionals working with and for children with disabilities, training programmes must include targeted and focused education on the rights of children with disabilities as a prerequisite for qualification.
27- وبالنسبة إلى أصحاب المهنة العاملين مع الطفل المعوق ولصالحه، يجب أن تتضمن برامج التدريب تعليماً محدداً ومركزاً على حقوق الطفل المعوق كشرط للتأهيل.

523. The Committee recommends that the State party, taking into account the Committee's general comment No. 9 (2006) on the rights of children with disabilities (CRC/C/GC/9), take all necessary measures to:
523- توصي اللجنـة الدولـة الطـرف باتخاذ جميـع التدابير الضرورية، مع مراعاة تعليق اللجنة العام رقم 9(2006) بشأن الأطفال المعوقين (CRC/C/GC/9)، للقيام بما يلي:

(d) Take note of the Standard Rules on the Equalization of Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities adopted by the General Assembly in resolution 48/96, and of the Committee's recommendations adopted at its day of general discussion on the rights of children with disabilities (CRC/C/69, paras. 310-339); and
