وقررت الجمعية العامة كذلك أن يظل اﻷمر مقتصرا على إجراء مناقشة عامة واحدة كل عام تبدأ في اﻷسبوع الثالث من أيلول/سبتمبر.

وإذ تشير أيضا بصفة خاصة إلى الفقرة 19 من مرفق قرارها 51/241، التي قررت فيها، ، أن يظل الأمر مقتصرا على إجراء مناقشة عامة واحدة كل عام تبدأ في الأسبوع الثالث من أيلول/سبتمبر، وإلى الفقرة 20 (أ) من المرفق التي قررت فيها أن تنظم المناقشة العامة على مدى أسبوعين، عملا على تكثيف إمكانيات الاتصال فيما بين الوزراء،
