(5) The last sentence of the present article obligates aquifer States to take a precautionary approach in view of uncertainty about the nature and extent of some transboundary aquifers or aquifer systems and of their vulnerability to pollution.
(5) والجملة الأخيرة من هذه المادة تُلزم دول طبقة المياه الجوفية بأن تتبع نهجاً تحوطياً بالنظر إلى حالة عدم التيقن من طبيعة ونطاق بعض طبقات المياه الجوفية العابرة للحدود أو شبكات طبقات المياه الجوفية العابرة للحدود وإمكانية تعرضها للتلوث.
