There shall be established a Subcommittee for the Prevention of Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or punishment of the Committee against Torture which shall carry out the functions laid down in the present Protocol (hereinafter referred to as the Subcommittee):
تُنشأ لجنة فرعية لمنع التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاانسانية أو المهينة تابعة للجنة مناهضة التعذيب تؤدي الوظائف المنصوص عليها في هذا البروتوكول (يشار اليها فيما يلي باسم اللجنة الفرعية)؛

The Court also ordered that both Parties should ensure that no action is taken which might " aggravate or extend the existing dispute over the prevention or punishment of the crime of genocide, or render it more difficult of solution " .

26. The Committee notes with concern that some allegations of excessive use of force, tight-fitting handcuffs and verbal abuse by police at the time of apprehension were reported in 2007 by the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or punishment of the Council of Europe.

(3) The purpose of the request for extradition is the criminal prosecution or punishment of the person whose extradition is requested on the grounds of race, sex, religion, nationality or political convictions;
