Upon being satisfied that the circumstances so warrant, the Contracting State in whose territory the alleged offender is present, shall take a person whose extradition is sought into custody or take other appropriate measures under its domestic law, so as to ensure his presence for the purpose of extradition.
تقوم الدولة المتعاقدة التي يوجد في إقليمها الشخص المدعى ارتكابه الجريمة باحتجاز الشخص المطلوب تسليمه، أو اتخاذ غير ذلك من التدابير المناسبة بموجب قوانينها الداخلية، من أجل ضمان وجوده لغرض تسليمه، وذلك بعد اطمئنانها على أن هناك من الظروف ما يبرر ذلك.

" Upon being satisfied that the circumstances so warrant, the Contracting State in whose territory the alleged offender is present, shall take a person whose extradition is sought into custody or take other appropriate measures under its domestic law, so as to ensure his presence for the purpose of extradition.
" تقوم الدولة المتعاقدة التي يوجد في اقليمها الشخص المدعى ارتكابه الجريمة باحتجاز الشخص المطلوب تسليمه، أو اتخاذ غير ذلك من التدابير المناسبة بموجب قوانينها الداخلية، من أجل ضمان وجوده لغرض تسليمه، وذلك بعد اطمئنانها إلى أن هناك من الظروف ما يبرر ذلك.
