(k) The effect on other High Contracting Parties

If consent is in any way qualified, other High Contracting Parties must determine whether they consent to that qualification.

In conformity with the Charter of the United Nations and of the rules of the international law of armed conflict applicable to them, High Contracting Parties agree to comply with the obligations specified in this Protocol, both individually and in co-operation with other High Contracting Parties, to minimise the risks and effects of explosive remnants of war in post-conflict situations.
1- امتثالاً لميثاق الأمم المتحدة وقواعد القانون الدولي للمنازعات المسلحة التي تنطبق عليها، توافق الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية على مراعاة الالتزامات المحددة في هذا البروتوكول منفردة وبالتعاون مع الأطراف المتعاقدة الأخرى بغية التقليل إلى الحد الأدنى من مخاطر وآثار المتفجرات من مخلفات الحرب في الحالات التي تعقب النـزاع.

It has to be noted that, while the principal responsibility lies with the occupying Power, all the other High Contracting Parties also bear responsibility for ensuring respect for these provisions.

24.
