ADDRESSED TO THE SECRETARY-GENERAL On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to transmit to you herewith a table showing the 15,430 miscellaneous bombs, rockets and other ordnance left behind by the 30-Power aggression against Iraq that were found and disposed of in all parts of Iraq in the period 1-31 August 1995.

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to transmit to you herewith a table showing the 2,469 miscellaneous bombs, shells, rockets and other ordnance, some of the remnants of the 30-Power aggression against Iraq, that were found and disposed of in all parts of Iraq in the period 1-31 December 1994.

Number of other explosive ordnance destroyed While it is clear that the Convention applies only to anti-personnel mines, States Parties may wish to report on other ordnance found and destroyed as part of a national demining effort.
(8) في حين أن من الواضح أن الاتفاقية لا تنطبق إلا على الألغام المضادة للأفراد، فقد ترغب الدول الأطراف في تقديم معلومات عن الذخائر الأخرى المكتشفة والمدمَّرة كجزء من المجهود الوطني لإزالة الألغام.

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to inform you that 272 unexploded cluster bombs, missiles, other ordnance and anti-personnel and anti-tank mines left behind by the 1991 30-nation aggression against Iraq were found and rendered harmless in the period from 1 January to 16 February 2001 in the following Iraqi governorates: Basrah, Dhi Qar, Wasit, Anbar and Salah al-Din.

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to transmit to you a list indicating the number of bombs, rockets and other ordnance remaining from the time of the thirty-power aggression against Iraq, namely 1,456 bombs, shells, rockets and mines of various types, found and disposed of in various parts of the country during the period from 1 to 31 March 1996.

1. Some 196 mines, bombs, rockets and other ordnance left behind by the 30-Power aggression against Iraq were found and disposed of in all parts of the country between 1 October and 1 December 1997. The items included American-made cluster bombs as well as spherical bombs, air-launched bombs and anti-personnel mines. They were found in the following governorates: Ninawa, Basrah, Anbar, Salah al-Din and Muthanna.
١ - بلغ عدد اﻷلغام والقنابل والصواريخ واﻷعتدة اﻷخرى من مخلفات العدوان الثلاثيني على العراق التي تم العثور عليها ومعالجتها في مختلف أنحاء العراق للفترة من ١ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ٧٩٩١ لغاية ١ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ٧٩٩١، )٦٩١( متفجرة منها قنابل عنقودية أمريكية وقنابل كروية وقنابل طائرات وألغام ضد اﻷشخاص وجدت في المحافظات اﻵتية: نينوي، البصرة، اﻷنبار، صلاح الدين، المثنى.

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to transmit to you herewith a table showing the 4,753 miscellaneous bombs, rockets, shells, mines and other ordnance, some of the remnants of the 30-Power aggression against Iraq, that were found and disposed of in all parts of Iraq in the period 1-28 February 1995.

On instructions from my Government I have the honour to transmit herewith a table detailing the 1,114 bombs, missiles, mines and other ordnance recovered following the various attacks launched against Iraq by the 30 countries of the coalition which were disposed of in the various regions of Iraq from 1 to 30 April 1995.

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to inform you that 3,863 bombs, missiles and other ordnance left behind by the 1991 30-Power aggression against Iraq were found and disposed of in all parts of the country between 1 February and 31 March 1997. The items included American-made cluster bombs as well as spherical bombs, strip bombs, spindle bombs and air-launched dispensers.

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to inform you that 151 unexploded bombs, missiles and other ordnance left behind by the 30-Power aggression against Iraq were found and disposed of in various parts of Iraqi territory between 1 June and 31 July 1997. They included American-made cluster bombs, as well as fragmentation bombs, strip bombs and spindle bombs, and were found in the governorates of Ninawa, Basra, Ta'mim and Anbar.

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to inform you that 197 mines, bombs, missiles and other ordnance left behind by the 30-Power aggression against Iraq were found and disposed of in various parts of Iraq between 1 April and 31 May 1998. The items included American-made cluster bombs, spherical bombs, air-launched bombs and an artillery shell.
بناء على توجيهات من حكومتي، أود إعلامكم بأن اﻷلغام والقنابل والصواريخ واﻷعتدة اﻷخرى من مخلفات العدوان الثلاثيني على العراق التي تم العثور عليها ومعالجتها في مختلف أنحاء العراق للفترة من ١ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٨ ولغاية ٣١ أيار/ مايو ١٩٩٨ بلغ عددها )١٩٧( متفجرة منها قنابل عنقودية أمريكية وقنابل كروية وقنابل طائرات وقذيفة مدفع وجدت في المحافظات اﻵتية: نينوي والبصرة والنجف.

While it is clear that the Convention applies only to anti-personnel mines, States Parties may wish to report on other ordnance found and destroyed as part of a national demining effort.
(د) في حين أن من الواضح أن الاتفاقية لا تنطبق إلا على الألغام المضادة للأفراد، فقد ترغب الدول الأطراف في تقديم معلومات عن الذخائر الأخرى المكتشفة والمدمَّرة كجزء من المجهود الوطني لإزالة الألغام.
