Accordingly, the attempts made at a number of points in the letter from the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Egypt addressed to you to belittle and disparage the importance of our previous letters assuredly do not refute an official position registered by the Sudan with the Council concerning Egyptian occupation and Egyptian violations of the Sudan's sovereignty in the Halayib region.
٢ - لذلك، فإن المحاولات الواردة في عدد من فقرات رسالة وزير خارجية جمهورية مصر العربية لكم بهدف التقليل والانتقاص من أهمية رسائلنا السابقة لكم هي بالتأكيد محاولات لا تنفي موقفا رسميا سجله السودان لدى مجلسكم الموقر من احتلال وانتهاكات مصرية لسيادة السودان في إقليم حلايب.

As we stated clearly in our previous letters and in our statement before the Security Council, the goals and objectives of this dialogue are to achieve constitutional, political and societal participation on the basis of consensus among all Sudanese in order to achieve the state of justice, good governance and an effective political system which will lead to overcoming the remaining crises and achieving lasting peace and stability.

عطفاً على رسائلنا السابقة بشأن الحملة العسكرية الإسرائيلية المستمرة في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس الشرقية، يؤسفني أن أبلغكم أن العديد من المدنيين الفلسطينيين، بينهم أطفال ونساء، ما زالوا يسقطون ضحية الاعتداءات القاتلة والمدمرة التي تقوم بها إسرائيل، السلطة القائمة بالاحتلال، ولا سيما في قطاع غزة المحاصر.

Further to our previous letters concerning the acts of aggression that Chad continues to carry out inside the Sudanese borders, I wish to inform you, and through you the members of the Security Council, that on 28 July 2009, Chadian troops crossed the border with 30 Merkeva tanks and four armoured cars, attacked the Sudanese village of Arwa and kidnapped Sudanese citizens.
إلحاقا برسائلنا السابقة بشأن الاعتداءات التي ما زالت تقوم بها تشاد داخل الحدود السودانية، أرجو أن أنهي لكريم علمكم وعبركم لعلم السادة أعضاء مجلس الأمن بأن فصائل من القوات التشادية قد عبرت الحدود على متن 30 مركبة مع أربع دبابات ونفذت هجوما على قرية أروا السودانية في الثامن والعشرين من تموز/يوليه المنصرم كما قامت تلك القوات باختطاف مواطنين سودانيين.
