VI. outer space law
سادسا - قانون الفضاء الخارجي

The view was expressed that, due to new developments in space activities, such as the commercialization of space and the increased risk of harming the space environment, there was a need for the negotiation of a new, comprehensive convention on outer space law to further strengthen the international legal regime covering outer space activities.
154- وأُعرب عن رأي مفاده أنه نظرا إلى التطورات الجديدة في أنشطة الفضاء، مثل الاستغلال التجاري للفضاء وازدياد خطر إلحاق الضرر ببيئة الفضاء، هناك حاجة إلى التفاوض حول اتفاقية شاملة جديدة بشأن قانون الفضاء الخارجي بغية مواصلة تعزيز النظام القانوني الدولي الذي يشمل أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي.

outer space law had been successfully developed and applied and the establishment of a definition and delimitation of outer space at the time could, in the view of those delegations, cause more problems than it would solve (see A/AC.105/305, para. 39).
ورأت تلك الوفود أن قانون الفضاء الخارجي قد وضع وطبّق بصورة ناجحة وأن وضع تعريف للفضاء الخارجي وتعيين حدوده في ذلك الوقت، يسبّب مشاكل أكثر من تلك التي يحلها (انظر الوثيقة A/AC.105/305، الفقرة 39).
