5. Where more than one State Party can claim jurisdiction over an offence mentioned under this Convention, the States Parties concerned shall take pains to coordinate their action efficaciously, especially as regards the conditions of prosecution and arrangements for mutual legal assistance.
5 - حيثما يكون بامكان أكثر من دولة أن تدعي حقها في فرض ولايتها القضائية على جرم مذكور في هذه الاتفاقية، يتعين على الدول الأطراف المعنية أن تسعى جاهدة الى تنسيق تدابيرها على نحو فعال، خصوصا فيما يتعلق بشروط الملاحقة وترتيبات تبادل المساعدة القانونية.

1. A State party that has received a request from another State party having jurisdiction over an offence covered by this Convention for the confiscation of the proceeds of crime, property, equipment or other instrumentalities referred to in article 22 of this Convention situated in its territory shall, to the greatest extent possible within its domestic legal system:
1 - على الدولة الطرف التي تتلقى طلبا من دولة طرف أخرى لها ولاية قضائية على جرم مشمول بهذه الاتفاقية من أجل مصادرة ما يوجد في إقليمها من عائدات إجرامية أو ممتلكات أو معدات أو أدوات أخرى مشار إليها في المادة 22 من هذه الاتفاقية، أن تقوم، إلى أقصى مدى ممكن في إطار نظامها القانوني الداخلي، بما يلي:

1- يتعين على الدولة الطرف التي تتلقى طلبا من دولة طرف أخرى لها ولاية قضائية على جرم مشمول بهذه الاتفاقية من أجل مصادرة ما يوجد في إقليمها من عائدات اجرامية أو ممتلكات أو معدات أو أدوات أخرى مشار إليها في الفقرة 1 من المادة 12 من هذه الاتفاقية، أن تقوم الى أقصى حد ممكن في اطار نظامها القانوني الداخلي بما يلي:

1. 1- على الدولة الطرف التي تتلقى طلبا من دولة طرف أخرى لها ولاية قضائية على جرم مشمول بهذه الاتفاقية، من أجل مصادرة ما يوجد في إقليمها من عائدات جرائم أو ممتلكات أو معدات أو أدوات أخرى مشار إليها في الفقرة 1 من المادة 11 من هذه الاتفاقية، أن تقوم، إلى أقصى حد ممكن في إطار نظامها القانوني الداخلي، بما يلي:

In a case where more than one State claims jurisdiction over an offence covered by the present Convention, the States concerned [shall seek] to coordinate their actions in an effective manner, in particular regarding the conditions of exercising prosecution and the modalities of recourse to mutual assistance. It was suggested that there should be provision for the settlement of disputes over jurisdiction.
٥ - في حالة ادعاء أكثر من دولة سريان ولايتها القضائية على جرم مشمول بهذه الاتفاقية ، يتعين على الدول المعنية ]أن تسعى الى تنسيق[ ]أن تنسق[ تدابيرها بطريقة فعالة ، خصوصا فيما يتعلق بشروط ممارسة الملاحقة وطرائق اللجوء الى تبادل المساعدة .اقترح ادراج حكم بشأن تسوية المنازعات المتعلقة بالولاية القضائية .
