The United Arab Emirates wishes to establish good-neighbourly relations and cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, but does not accept any encroachment on its sovereignty over its three islands of Lesser Tunb, Greater Tunb and Abu Musa.
إن الإمارات العربية المتحدة تحرص على إقامة علاقات حُسن جوار وتعاون مع جمهورية إيران الإسلامية، ولكنها لا تقبل أي تعدٍ على سيادتها على جزرها الثلاث طنب الصغرى وطنب الكبرى وأبو موسى.

2. To renew its affirmation of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates over its three islands of Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa, as well as its unequivocal affirmation of all the peaceful measures and means which it adopts with a view to restoring its sovereignty over those islands;
٢ - تجديد تأكيده لسيادة دولة اﻹمارات العربية المتحدة على جزرها الثلاث طنب الكبرى وطنب الصغرى وأبو موسى، وتأييده المطلق لكافة اﻹجراءات والوسائل السلمية التي تتخذها لاستعادة سيادتها على هذه الجزر.

2. To renew its affirmation of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates over its three islands of Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa and its unconditional support for all the peaceful measures the United Arab Emirates is taking with a view to restoring its sovereignty over the islands;
٢ - التأكيد على سيادة دولة اﻹمارات العربية المتحدة على جزرها الثلاث: طنب الكبرى وطنب الصغرى وأبو موسى، والتأييد المطلق لكافة اﻹجراءات والوسائل السلمية التي تتخذها لاستعادة سيادتها على هذه الجزر.

1. To reaffirm without qualification the absolute sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates over its three islands of the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa and to support all peaceful measures and means adopted by the United Arab Emirates to regain its sovereignty over the occupied islands;
