(و) في الحالات التي يخضع فيها مرتب الموظف والمكافآت التي تدفعها له الأمم المتحدة للاقتطاع الإلزامي من مرتبات الموظفين حسب هذا النظام ولضريبة الدخل الوطنية في آن واحد، يؤذن للأمين العام أن يرد إلى الموظف مبلغ الاقتطاع الإلزامي المحصل منه، وذلك بالشروط التالية:

At that time, the amount of his or her pension shall be calculated in accordance with paragraphs 2 to 4 above on the basis of his or her total period of service and shall be subject to a reduction equal in actuarial value to the amount of any retirement pension paid to him or her before he or she reached the age of sixty.
وعندئذ يُحسب مبلغ المعاش التقاعدي وفقا للفقرات 2 إلى 4 أعلاه على أساس مجموع مدة خدمة العضو، ويُخصم من المعاش مبلغ يعادل بقيمته الاكتوارية مبلغ أي معاش تقاعدي يُدفع له قبل بلوغه الستين.

Should he or she so elect, the amount of such pension shall be that amount which has the same value as the retirement pension which would have been paid to him or her at the age of sixty.
وإذا ما اختار ذلك، يحصل على معاش تقاعدي توازي قيمته قيمة المعاش التقاعدي الذي كان سيدفع له في سن الستين.

At that time, the amount of his or her pension shall be calculated in accordance with paragraphs 2 to 4 above on the basis of his or her total period of service and shall be subject to a reduction equal in actuarial value to the amount of any retirement pension paid to him or her before he or she reached the age of 60.
ويُحسب مقدار معاشه عندئذ وفقا لأحكام الفقرات 2 إلى 4 أعلاه على أساس مجموع مدة خدمته، ويخضع لتخفيض يعادل في قيمته الحسابية الإكتوارية مقدار أي معاش تقاعدي دفع له قبل بلوغ سن الستين.
