If, pursuant to the applicable law of the concerned State, the convicted person is eligible for pardon or commutation of sentence, the State shall notify the Tribunal accordingly.
وإذا كان يجوز العفو أو تخفيف الحكم الصادر بحق الشخص المُدان طبقا للقانون الواجب التطبيق في الدولة المعنية، على الدولة أن تُخطر المحكمة بذلك.

3. Whenever any pardon or commutation of sentence proceedings are initiated, the Ministry of Justice shall so inform the International Tribunal, since no decision can be taken until the International Tribunal rules on the matter, and the pardon or commutation may be denied if the International Tribunal so decides.
٣ - عند البدء في تنفيذ العفو أو تخفيف الحكم تخطر وزارة العدل المحكمة الدولية، بذلك ولا يجوز لها اتخاذ أي قرار لحين إصدار المحكمة الدولية قرارها، ويُرفض التخفيف أو العفو إذا قررت المحكمة المذكورة ذلك.

7. Anyone sentenced to death shall have the right to seek pardon, or commutation of sentence; pardon or commutation of sentence may be granted in all cases of capital punishment.
7 - لكل من يحكم عليه بالإعدام الحق في التماس العفو، أو تخفيف الحكم، ويجوز منح العفو أو تخفيف الحكم في جميع حالات عقوبة الإعدام.
