18. At the 35th meeting, on 18 November, the representative of Costa Rica, on behalf of the States Members that are members of the Group of 77 and China, introduced a draft resolution entitled " Global financial integration and strengthening collaboration between the United Nations and the Bretton Woods institutions, in particular the International Monetary Fund " (A/C.2/51/L.28), which read:
١٨ - في الجلسة ٣٥، المعقودة يوم ١٨ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر، قام ممثل كوستاريكا، بالنيابة عن الدول اﻷعضاء، اﻷعضاء في مجموعة اﻟ ٧٧ والصين، بعرض مشروع قرار بعنوان " التكامل المالي العالمي وتعزيز التعاون بين اﻷمم المتحدة ومؤسسات بريتون وودز، ولا سيما صندوق النقد الدولي " )A/C.2/51/L.28( وفيما يلي نصه:

7. Urges all States, international financial institutions, in particular the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, multilateral organizations and development funds and programmes of the United Nations system, as well as intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, to pursue with renewed vigour, and as a matter of urgency, the realization of the goals and objectives embodied in the New Agenda;
7 - تحث جميع الدول، والمؤسسات المالية الدولية، ولا سيما صندوق النقد الدولي والبنك الدولي، والمنظمات المتعددة الأطراف، والصناديق الإنمائية لمنظومة الأمم المتحدة وبرامجها، فضلا عن المنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية، على السعي بقوة متجددة، على سبيل الاستعجال، إلى تحقيق الغايات والأهداف المجسَّدة في البرنامج الجديد؛

24. The Committee encourages the State party, as a member of international financial institutions, in particular the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, to do all it can to ensure that the policies and decisions of those organizations are in conformity with the obligations of States parties to the Covenant, in particular the obligations contained in Articles 2.1, 22 and 23 concerning international assistance and cooperation.
24- تشجع اللجنة الدولة الطرف، بوصفها عضوا في المؤسسات المالية الدولية ولا سيما صندوق النقد الدولي والبنك الدولي، على أن تفعل كل ما في وسعها لضمان انسجام سياسات وقرارات تلك المؤسسات مع التزام الدول الأطراف في العهد، ولا سيما الالتزامات الواردة في المواد 2-1 و22 و23 فيما يتعلق بالمساعدة والتعاون على الصعيد الدولي.

32. The Committee encourages the State party, as a member of international financial institutions, in particular the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, to do all it can to ensure that the policies and decisions of those organizations are in conformity with the obligations of States parties to the Covenant, in particular the obligations contained in articles 21, 22 and 23 concerning international assistance and cooperation.
32- وتشجع اللجنة الدولة الطرف على بذل كل ما في وسعها، بحكم عضويتها في المؤسسات المالية الدولية، ولا سيما صندوق النقد الدولي والبنك الدولي، لضمان تطابق سياسات ومقررات تلك المنظمات مع التزامات الدول الأطراف في العهد وخاصة منها الالتزامات المنصوص عليها في المواد 2 (1) و22 و23 في مجال المساعدة والتعاون الدوليين.

81. Various United Nations organizations and their partners, in particular the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, and Interpol, already work to ensure that States have in place the laws and institutions to comply fully with international norms and obligations to combat money-laundering and financing of terrorism.
81 - وتعمل فعلا مؤسسات شتى من مؤسسات الأمم المتحدة وكذلك شركاء تلك المؤسسات، ولا سيما صندوق النقد الدولي والبنك الدولي ومكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة، والمنظمة الدولية للشرطة الجنائية (الإنتربول)، على كفالة قيام الدول بوضع القوانين وإنشاء المؤسسات اللازمة من أجل الامتثال التام للقواعد والالتزامات الدولية فيما يتعلق بمكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب.

States parties that are members of international financial institutions, in particular the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the World Bank) and regional development banks, should pay greater attention to the protection of the right to work in influencing the lending policies, credit agreements, structural adjustment programmes and international measures of these institutions.
وينبغي للدول الأطراف الأعضاء في مؤسسات مالية دولية، ولا سيما صندوق النقد الدولي والبنك الدولي للإنشاء والتعمير (البنك الدولي) والمصارف الإنمائية الإقليمية، أن تولي اهتماماً أكبر لحماية الحق في العمل بممارسة نفوذها على ما تضعه تلك المؤسسات من سياسات إقراض، واتفاقات ائتمان، وبرامج تكييف هيكلي، وتدابير دولية.
