11. The Committee reiterates its previous recommendation and calls on the State party to recognize the Convention, in addition to relevant international obligations, as the most pertinent and legally binding human rights instrument on the elimination of discrimination against women and the achievement of substantive gender equality and to incorporate all substantive provisions of the Convention into domestic law.
